VP - Accounts & Taxation - Microfinance Firm

Qualification: CA / ICWA / MBA Finance

Job Responsibilities:-

- To ensure timely and accurate adherence to statutory compliances and enactments so as to protect the financial and legal interests of the company.

- Ensures adherence to department budget so as to avoid overspill of budgeted costs.

- Ensures timely and error free payment of tax and filing of returns so as to fulfil the statutory compliance requirements faced by the organization.

- Ensures efficient handling of tax matters so as to protect the organizations financial and legal interests.

- Ensures timely and accurate preparation of books of accounts for HO and branch as per the accepted accounting standards so as to fulfil the statutory compliance requirements faced by the organization.

- Ensures timely and accurate reporting and other payments with statutory bodies so as to fulfil the statutory compliance requirements faced by the organization.

- Ensures smooth handling of quarterly, half yearly and annual audits through statutory auditors so as to fulfil the statutory compliance requirements faced by the organization.

- Responsible for recruitment, retention, skill development, growth and satisfaction of team.

Desired profile of the candidate:-

- 8-10 years, at least 5 years post qualification, exposure to areas of accounts, compliance, audit, tax required with at least 2 years in each, preferable exposure to BFSI sector.

- Technical Expertise, Attention to Detail, Knowledge of relevant IT packages, Team Management, Process Orientation, Communication.
