- A highly reputed Indian Multinational, listed in the Indian Stock Exchanges, having a sales turnover in excess of Rs. 6,000 crores with headquarters in Mumbai and manufacturing operations in 2 locations within India has entrusted us with the selection of their GM - Corporate Finance who will report to the CFO.

- In line with the Group's philosophy of recruiting only the best, the person we are looking for needs to be intellectually outstanding and a knowledge-based leader in the area of Finance, Accounts and Management Controls with 15+ years of post-qualification experience in Industry. The company operates in the manufacturing and Building material space.

Broad Responsibilities:

- Finalization of Accounts and preparation of Financial Statements in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards; Lead the monthly/quarterly financial closing and reporting and provide critical analysis and actions on the performance of the Business. These include preparation of yearly, annual and rolling Financial Plans, Forecast and analysis and timely reporting and action on variances.

- Design and implement internal control processes / policies to ensure a sound internal control environment; work with Internal Auditors to address any control deficiencies; support key business initiatives; prepare business / financial analysis and discuss business opportunities; support in finalizing commercial negotiations, agreements, etc.

- Ensure timely and efficient credit administration through credit team and manage business cash flow and related activities.

- Ensure timely completion of all plant accounting and financial closing work; cost, management and statutory reporting as per local laws.

- Manage Forex and Treasury Operations - LCs and BGs and negotiate with Banks for funding and exposure limits.

- Work with External Auditors (one of the Big 4) for statutory reporting including relevant requirements of public company and its audit/ tax compliance.

- The position is based in the company's head office in Pune.

Education: Chartered Accountant

- Candidates from large Manufacturing, Engineering, Metal, Mining, Power, Automobile, Chemical Industries are welcome.
