Position Summary :

The Director business intelligence & analytics (BI& A) will be heading the BI function at Voylla. Responsible for promoting positive working relationships between BI and other organizational functions. Will be working closely with various groups in streamlining processes for data mining and business intelligence. The BI director responsibility includes but not limited to devising the overall strategy, planning, delivery, support, and management of the BI team; provide day-to-day support for data warehouse and reporting systems, including but not limited to system monitoring and problem resolutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Evaluate and set-up best in class processes & BI tool for Voylla.

- Study various data sources and structure, and set-up dashboards for various business units.

- Oversees the overall BI function within the organization and serves as primary evangelist for the capabilities of the BI function.

- Set up and develop BI team roadmap and plans for new delivery.

- Responsible for the successful and organized deployment of analytical information into the business also catering to the data requirement of the business units.

- Oversees project execution- ensures delivery success; ensures projects are following delivery, methodology and quality processes.

- To evaluate and setup BI tools for Voylla

- Serves as a subject matter expert and advisor for BI governance, functional analytics, and data governance.

- Ensures that all BI projects and activities align with corporate goals and initiatives, participating in the appropriate steering committees.

- Identifies areas for continuous improvement and direct improvement activities.

- To study various data sources and structures which includes internal & external systems, market places, payment gateways, channel partners etc.

- Hire and mentor the team of analysts and BI Engineer.

Job specification :

Desired skills :

- Experience in handling complex data structures.

- Sound knowledge of data warehouse and DBMS concepts.

- Exposure of Google Analytics and facebook marketing platforms.

- Effective requirement gathering and translating into BI problem.

- Understanding of statistical analysis.

- Working experience of R / SAS etc.

- Understanding of various BI tools.

Desired qualification& experience : 6 to 8 years of experience - in BI function in banking/retail/e-commerce/ telecom

- B. Tech from IITs or Degree in Mathematics / Statistics

- MBA from premier institute

- BI certifications
