What you will be responsible for? - Supervise the movement and distribution of supplies and materials. - Planning and optimizing routes, analyzing budgets and process. - Assess and recommend ideal transportation methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications, and cost. - Negotiate rates with carriers and help in onboarding. - Develop business by gaining new contracts, analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions. - Work on new supply strategies. - Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance. Desired candidature - 6+ years of proven working experience as a logistics manager from a reputed firm. - Proven track record of successful distribution and logistics management. - Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects. - Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced dynamic environment. - Should have managed teams across multiple geographies. - The ideal candidate should have worked in a logistics or e-commerce start-up which has witnessed extreme scale. - Strong in analytical and problem-solving skills.
