Role :Test Certification - Senior Manager

Key accountabilities and decision ownership :

- Test Ownership : Owns repository of ~15,000 test cases, 600 automation scripts. Ensures that I.T applications are validated through advanced industry prevalent Test Techniques from Automation, Performance, Reliability and Load standpoints. SME in Test Design, influences appropriate use of test techniques and tools by vendor teams.

- Test Planning & Monitoring : Uses Planning & Risk management skills to arrive at Test Plans that ensure predictable and high-quality releases. Employs key metrics and daily interactions with wide span of teams to monitor smooth execution & report progress to Senior Management.

- I.T Sign-off : Accountable for the sign off of I.T deliveries into user environments. Responsible to declare the application defect-free and certify it fit for use in production.

- Business Liaison : Works extensively with Business analysts and user acceptance test teams to ensure that test plans are drawn in accordance with their functional and performance requirements. Being a key player in the delivery team, works cohesively with internal stakeholders (DM, Program and Project Managers) towards program success.

- People Management : Manages direct and contracted reports in QA - hiring, contracting, and building necessary skills and talent. Assumes ownership of Vendor Testing, supervises their test activities and artefacts from a delivery and quality perspective via proactive guidance and compliance checks.

Key performance indicators :

- Delivered Defect Density Reduction - Prevents negative brand image through reduction of defects found in production.

- Effort and Schedule Variance, Delays in UAT - Reduces Delivery & Operations rework due to delayed detection of defects.

- Uses automation to enhance productivity, reduce costs by ~20%
