Role-Packet Core Ops

Location/Circle - Kolkata/West Bengal

Designation TM - Packet Core

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

General Operations & Maintenance :

- Day to Day operations of SGSN/MME, GGSN/SPGW/PCRF/vGw

- Coordination for Upgrades /activities (Cisco/Nokia/Ericsson/Huawei)

- Provide support (onsite/offsite) for activities associated with Packet Core

- Incident management & emergency handling

- Monitoring of capacity vs utilization of nodes (SAU/PDN/Processor/Throughput/Sessions)

- Bandwidth Utilization monitoring (Gi/Gn/S1U/Caching/Gm/Rx) and upgrade

- Shift operations as per duty roster

- Change Management

- Coordination with SNOC for change management requirements

- Raising CR for Change Management

- Coordination for additional Configurations

- Verification of Inputs for CM/Command files before execution

- Fault Management

- Troubleshooting and Resolution of issues related to data services

- Local Hardware Fault Management - Card Changes/R&R/Spare Part management

- Address local connectivity issues

- Infra/power related issues pertaining to PaCo Nodes


- Address ongoing Customer problems related to Data browsing/VoLTE

- Analysis of Complaints and provide RCA

- Coordinate with Vendor/SNOC CM teams to implement corrections/patches-

- New Node integrations

- Infra Requirements

- Installation/commissioning /integration

- Final Go Live - Clearances (RA/LI/SNOC)

- Feature and technology rollouts

- Implementation

- Technical Testing/ UAT

Qualifications and Competencies:

BE / B.Tech ( preferably Electronics & Communication )

Minimum 5 years of experience in Packet Core operations
