Role HSW Head - Corporate Commercial Function / Department Commercial Location Mumbai Job Purpose : - Commercial function is managing over 6000 Suppliers, handling material receipt/dispatches from 80 Warehouses (located in all over India) and handles 8000 Vehicle trips /month. - Purpose of this role is to enable, achieve and maintain 100% compliance in all facets of SCM operations in all India operation - This role is a national level role which drives 22 Circle Commercial teams for 100% Compliance and sustenance. The role also work for HSW excellence which makes it much wider. - The role holder coordinates with HSW central team for driving the concepts and implementation. Key Result Areas/Accountabilities : This includes following - I. Safe environment (HSW &amp; Sustainability) in Commercial Function - Supplier On boarding Compliance HSW Framework/Process - Supplier On boarding- Evaluation Questionnaire - Supplier performance review &amp; rewards II. Supplier engagement framework - Conduct supplier safety forum for high risk suppliers - Conduct Key Contractors Meeting for all Corporate high risk suppliers - Target 100% III. Safety in Warehousing and logistics Operations - ISO process &amp; governance framework - Design and implement Reward and recognition for suppliers recognising excellent safety performance - Warehousing- Warehouse Selection, Audit checklist, KPI monitoring. - Logistic- Defensive Driver training, Vehicle and Driver Inspection IV. Framework - Monitoring &amp; Governance of High Risk Suppliers - All High Risk suppliers to sign off Safety Plan &gt;Target 90% - All the High risk suppliers to sign off Supplier HSW Policy &gt;Target 90% - All High Risk Suppliers to declare the Sub Contracting level &gt;Target 90% - Balance Score Card - Key Performance indicators (KPI) V. HSW Trainings &amp; Incident Management - Monthly HSW Trainings- Electrical, Work at height, Driving, manual handling, Fire Safety. - Monthly CMM Report will be published for all type of violations - Circulation of Incidents, corrective/preventive action and learnings of High Potential, Major &amp; Fatality incidents VI. Audit &amp; Review - Conduct Warehouse audits- Gujarat, Mumbai, Pune, MP, Bihar, Assam - Publish monthly HSW dashboard VII. Sustainability - Drive sustainability initiatives across commercial function in coordination with sustainability group. Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience : 1. Excellent Communication skill, SME 2. Design and implementation framework of HSW: - Develop HSW supplier policy and ensure vendor HSW document compliance - Design processes for implementation of HSW across commercial function 3. Training: - Conduct Training of key stakeholders on HSW processes (CCH, VHs, WH team at Circle and Corporate) 4. Compliance: - Governance and Monitoring through Balance Scorecards - Check implementation on ground. (Circle visits) - Audit framework and reviews - Plan and launch of Automated tools to monitor HSW - Warehouse and transportation HSW compliance norms and dashboard - Monthly Reporting dashboard - Accident/Incident investigation, root cause analysis and implementation of controls - Circulation of Incidents, corrective/preventive action and learnings of High Potential, Major &amp; Fatality incidents 5. Audit and review: - Audit &amp; Review - Publish monthly HSW dashboard - Sustainability - Drive HSW sustainability initiatives across commercial function in coordination with sustainability group. Must have technical / professional qualifications : - A trained and certified HSW/Safety professional (Preferably: IGC NEBOSH) - Preferably Engineer Years of Experience : - Max. 10 years of experience, having proven records of leading HSW/Safety projects Industries to look from : Manufacturing Industry Ideal Organizations to look from : Automobile, Chemicals, Cement Direct reports : - 1 indirect report at SSC - Support from 9 SPOC in Circles
