Role purpose - - The Digital Business leader is responsible for definition, maintenance, and enablement of the digital business vision, strategy, and objectives, updating regularly according to digital and business realities, opportunities, and threats - This role is responsible for the end-to-end ownership of the business outcomes and user journeys delivered by the scoped digital channels and supporting capabilities, ensuring they are aligned to digital vision and delivering maximum value to the wider business - This role is responsible for working with wider Group and Local market business stakeholders, Digital Architecture, and Product Managers to define the target digital vision, enabling strategy, and prioritized roadmap Key accountabilities and decision ownership : - Own investment portfolio and business outcomes of digital channels - Define coherent digital business strategy and objectives, clearly focused on the customer or end user - Lead identification and evaluation of internal digital capabilities and external opportunities - Define digital experience roadmap in sync with the enterprise business strategy - Monitor the progress and financials of business outcomes, communicating portfolio-level impacts to maximize rapid delivery of business value - Communicate and align with leaders across the organization, identifying opportunities and wider-requirements for digital strategy, impacts and outcomes. Core competencies, knowledge and experience: - Business strategy and planning in large enterprise - Business modelling - Market research, design thinking, and lean start-up methods - Customer experience design of digital products and services - Digital / software product management in large scale environments. - Understanding of Agile software development environment and methods (optional - good to have) - Innovation management, technology scouting and prototyping - Market analytics and intelligence - Data-driven decision making - Excellent business acumen, including with an in-depth understanding of the contribution of the overall digital strategy to the wider business strategy - Deep understanding of the evolving digital world from both the demand and supply perspective - Trusted and respected leader who can influence, direct, and coach business and IT leaders in line with the business mission, vision and objectives - Risk-taking, entrepreneurial management style, ability to navigate in uncertainty and being adaptive. - Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking and consulting skills - Excellent financial management skills, including P&L management - Excellent relationship-building skills Must have technical / professional qualifications: - Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Master in Business Administration, or other related field - Ten or more years of business experience, ideally in marketing, Technology related Product management, Customer Experience - Five or more years of experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs - Extensive experience in delivering digital capabilities and outcomes in the context of agile methodologies and user-centred experience design - Experience working across multiple digital domains, such as digital marketing, digital commerce, analytics, etc. - Experience in successfully innovating business models and developing new channels
