Job Purpose :
The Cloud Sales lead will be the go to person for any cloud conversation and opportunity bringing in a strong cloud technology and sales acumen to the team and organization thus setting up, driving cloud business as well as meet the cloud revenue targets.
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities :
1. Drive new conversation - The cloud sales lead will assist in driving new opportunities & conversations across all segments with respective sales teams. The lead will help qualify opportunities as well as work towards closure of the same.
2. Technology understanding - The lead is expected to understand cloud and data centre technology very well and be the go to person for support from sales/pre-sales perspective in the organization.
3. Revenue generation & ownership Will need a business mind set to lead & drive sales and revenue targets. The lead is expected to own the revenue targets of Cloud LoB across all FYs.
4. Sales enabler & leadership - The lead is expected to enable the sales community around the portfolio as well as interface with our key partners for support across the opportunities
5. C Level engagement - It is a customer facing role and would need expertise and confidence to interact with senior executives as well as C level executives.
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience :
- Experience selling cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) & data centre technologies in a B2B world to enterprise customers
- Experience driving strategic sales, business development, technology sales multiple customer segments.
- Experience working with large enterprises across CSPs, DC providers, Cloud businesses of Telcos, IT/ITES, SI organization.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills up. Ability to manage key stakeholders including CXO and Partner leads.
- Travel to any or all partner and customer sites when appropriate
- A team player and an individual with passion to own & develop new experiences.
Must have technical / professional qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or equivalent practical experience, and/or an MBA or other advanced degree.
- Cloud certifications from top cloud providers will be a bonus.
Years of Experience :
- 5-10 years of experience in a relevant role.
