Job Purpose
The role purpose is to lead the Sales & Business Development of a specific region for Smart IoT connectivity solutions. Increase Vodafone Idea's market share in the smart connectivity space while improving overall customer satisfaction scores.
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
- Create and execute- smart IoT- connectivity- strategy for the region in line with overall with the segment sales teams. Own the revenue deliverable for the region.
- Create a demand generation and robust funnel generation to support agreed revenue goals in the aggregator space.
- Conduct Digital transformation workshops and C-Suite advisory on IoT to all aggregators & Partners.
- Engage with the C-Suite to seamlessly deliver the revenue extraction strategy. Maintain a C-Level relationship with strategic accounts/aggregators.
- Build account level ring-fencing strategy for key and large accounts including increased penetration of the IoT technology stack. Liaison closely with all internal stakeholders to ensure success.
- On-board new set of accounts & strategic aggregators which can augment and accelerate revenue numbers for the region.
- Responsible for timley submission of required regional market data.
Key performance indicators [max 3]:
- Achievement of revenue from Aggregators & Partnerships as per DB for the entire region.
- No. of new accounts/aggregators and new partners on-boarded for the region.
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
- C-Level customer/ partner relationship management with sales experience & extensive experience in areas of aggregator and partnerships.
- Must possess knowledge of IoT technologies and related market ecosystem and economics
- Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams spanning across Sales, Pre-sales and Service.
- 10 + Years of B2B experience along with solution selling background
- Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills.
- Agile, quick thinking, team player capable of working in an ambiguous environment.
Must have technical / professional qualifications
- Graduate in Management (MBA), preferably with engineering background
