Job Level/ Designation : M2/AGM

Function / Department : Technology

Location : Pune

Job Purpose :

1. Perform Requirement gathering and High level solution design for all IT requirements pertaining to VIL enterprise business

2. Engagement with business and application teams to deliver enterprise solutions

3. Conduct workshops with various stakeholders for all the requirements of new products and enhancements to existing products

4. Align required partner BA and SA basis systems impacted and product functional requirement specification (FRS) document and seek sign off from business

5. Conduct walkthroughs wit business and various application and operation teams

6. Adhere to all FRS and solution SLAs as per VIL process

7. Provide functional expertise to various application teams (VIL and partners) whenever needed

8. Engagement in process improvisation across systems and IT processes

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities :

1. Required to play role of a Business analysts and Solution Architect.

2. Finalise Solution Architecture and Design for VBS Projects through effective interaction with business stakeholders, demand management, Online team & multiple vendors

3. Review and approve the solution architecture & design , project plan, efforts and schedule; also ensure planning for all the resources required to deliver the projects on time

4. Establish effective governance to ensure timely and flawless delivery of solution architecture and design for multiple projects; track milestones, manage risks, resolve issues/conflicts and provide periodic status reporting on multiple on-going projects.

5. Manage dependencies for success of a project through effective interaction with other functions such as Infrastructure, Application Owners, Release Management, Quality Assurance, Security Management, and Governance etc.

6. Ensure Operation's Engagement to deliver the business functionality as per schedule & within budget

7. Adherence to governance IT architecture guidelines

8. Engage with partners and monitor demands progress regularly. Escalate concerns to the correct governance forum.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience :

1. 6+ years strong experience in Solution Architecture & Design for large & complex VBS projects specifically for Customers, employees and partners in a Telecom environment. This includes Website, App, Ordering, billing and field management systems

2. Good understanding of IT Application's Ecosystem for a telecom service provider specially for non-GSM business

3. Be an effective communicator ( oral and written), highly organized, good multi-tasker and possess leadership skills

4. Expand and enhance digital foot print for more and more self-service initiatives to support Enterprise specific plans and journeys

5. Good understanding of caching technologies, telecom OSS/BSS applications, integration best practices, agile processes and emerging technologies pooling & sharing etc

Must have technical / professional qualifications :

6. Have B.E./ B.Tech graduation degree. Post- graduation (MBA) will be preferred

7. Have understanding and hands - on experience in Telco OSS and BSS processes and architecture.

8. Have understand on Telecom Network, billing, CRM, mediation processes, M2M, Digital & IOT

9. Have knowledge on products like FLD & FLV - MPLS, ILL, etc. and IOT products

10. Should understand and adhere to eTOM guidelines

11. MBA/PG an added advantage

12. Skills on Software Development Methodologies ( SDLC)

13. Hands on Telecom Domain expertise
