Key Responsibilities:
1. National Communication.
- Initiate and develop 360 communication along with execution for National tariffs (Prepaid, Postpaid, Roaming & Data)
- Develop national communication and support to the Mpaisa business
2. Circle Communication.
- Guide circles to help formulate circle marketing communication calendars
- Plan activities/ events based on market & business priorities
- Review every piece of work that is created across all circles
- Provide guidance on communication propositions development
- Create standardized communication for products and services
- Maintain consistency and work closely with the global team to comply & develop global guidelines
- Ensure speed to market of all pieces
- Develop and assist execution on all large scale circle or campaign events.
- Provide support to the enterprise communication team
3. Events & Sponsorship
- Plan, Organise, manage and execute all external and internal corporate events
- Develop sponsorship guidelines for Corporate / Circles
- Work closely with the global team and various local partners to ensure extraction of value and impact from all sponsorship deals
4. Email & Direct Marketing
- Trade Communication
- Developing Direct Marketing elements for customer communication esp. for HVCs and UHVCs
6. Corporate Responsibility
- Create internal communication plans to increase awareness of key issues within the company and encourage every employee to become an ambassador for CR
- Plan & manage the communication to the right external audience
7. Agency and team management.
- Supervise/ manage /work with the agency as communication partners to develop communication, ensure compliance with guidelines, consistency and speed to market.
- Periodical reviews with the agency on the work done and a competitive analysis to develop benchmarks and way forwards.
Internal communication.
- Plan, Develop and execute all internal campaigns & events
- Liaison with all internal departments to understand their need and deliver appropriate and timely communication.
- To ensure uniformity in communication. And maintain a brand look and feel for all internal communication.
- Identify and develop differentiated merchandise for employees and customers
- Develop, manage and execute various internal Projects and Events
- Ensure cordial relation & proper understanding with all internal teams so that objectives are collectively met
Financials and Misc.
- Timely process bills to ensure that vendors get paid on time
- Vendor relationship management to get the best deal from them
