Vodafone - AM - Branch Accounting - Finance Operations Non Vertical

ROLE PURPOSE

This position is responsible for the accounting and reporting of Mumbai Circle's LTD process. The person will be entire fixed asset accounting, ensuring timely capitalisation of assets. Will also be responsible for ensuring reconciliation between inventory between physical and books. To ensure that compliance with SOX and monitoring, analysing and reporting of cost and preparation of financial statements as per the standards laid under IGAAP and IFRS. Also to take care for risk management from circle point of view.

ESSENCE OF ROLE- Key Accountabilities

- Accounting & compliance - Responsible for completely managing of entire accounting and compliance related to L2D operations.

- Reporting - To ensure timely capitalization of all fixed assets and ensure timely physical verification.

- Audit - To ensure the smooth conduct of Statutory / SOX Internal Audit pertaining to L2D business.

- Variance analysis - Preparation of variance as compared to previous period and budgets. Analysis of reasons of variances

- MIS - Preparation and circulation of various MIS Reports to internal and external stakeholders.

TYPICAL OUTPUTS:

- Reports taken from the accounting system SAP.

- MS Excel Sheets for compilation done for information.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS:

- CA / MBA Finance with 2 to 3 years of experience.

- Sound knowledge of Accounting and Financial Operations.

- Knowledge of Excel & SAP
