The Scrum Master is a facilitator for teams to work in an Agile way

ROLE:-

- Employee responsible for the work efficiency of the squad and the correct use of the Agile methodology

- Builds coordination mechanisms with other areas

- Promotes the self-organization of the team through the solution of hindrances and dependencies

DEDICATION:-

- The Scrum master is a double-hatted role of any squad member. Initially, professional Scrum masters can be employed to support newly-formed squads

RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHER ROLES:-

- The Scrum master participates in the performance evaluation of the different members of the squads where he/she participates

RESPONSIBILITIES:-

- Facilitate processes and ceremonies

- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies in the squads

- Monitor the progress of the squad and the scope of goals in the daily stand-up sessions through burn-down charts or other tools

- Coordinate the interaction with other teams inside and outside the Agile methodology

- Manage the processes related to the completion of tasks and the identification of dependencies with other teams

- Manage the backlog in the production stage in software development teams

- Develop Agile teams and methodology

- Ensure compliance and continuous Improvement of Agile ceremonies and other tools of the methodology to deliver efficiency to teams

- Create and maintain atmosphere of trust in the team by facilitating retrospective and feedback exchange between team members

- Eliminate hindrances and keep the list of hindrances updated

- Participate in the performance evaluation of squad members
