Salient Requirements of the profile:

- Custodians of the company's balance sheet exposure to clients through a variety of products

- Capable of forming a view and suggesting course of action with regards to the company's exposures to its clients

- Identifying early warning signs of credit deterioration

- Able to develop credit monitoring strategies and policies to keep a close watch on clients

- Able to hold conversations and engage with client's senior management and company's Credit Committee

- Monitoring limits extended to clients in close concert with the Risk and Business teams to ensure that the company's credit policy is adhered to

- On-going financial and non-financial review of the company's clients through desk review and on-field monitoring

- Key inputs in on-boarding new clients and sectors, working with respective teams to ensure highest quality diligence of prospective new clients

The ideal candidate would

- Possess 2-3 years of relevant credit assessment experience in financial services, i.e.

a. structured credit/lending to mid-corporates and FIs or

b. worked in equity research/credit underwriting/Rating or

c. worked in portfolio / credit monitoring teams of NBFCs / Banks / PE or debt funds or

d. working in due diligence teams of Big 4s or worked at a rating agency

- Be brilliant with numbers, analysing financial statements, managing and interpreting data and solving problems - to aid in underwriting exposure to clients

- Support decision making on client and sectoral outlook

- Have excellent report writing skills

- Be as ambitious as we are, and hence be willing to go out of her / his way to burn the midnight oil to meet targets and deadlines

- Be willing to travel extensively - i.e. every week if required

- Possess a good eye for detail and have demonstrated ability to work under pressure

- Have demonstrated resilience - stayed with companies and taking businesses to scale, have preferably not - hopped jobs-
