Overall purpose of job :
- Build and Develop a High Performing & Motivated Team
- Design & Implement Distributor/Retailer margin Strategy. Induct/On-board Distributors
Work Closely with Marketing Team on Defining Brand Philosophy/Architecture. Work with Marketing Manager on Brand Building, Market Execution :
- Developing and implementing Sales Strategies for increase of market share and profitability on sustainable basis in line with Annual Business Plan (ABP).
- To direct the Sales team and establish sales targets brand wise, pack wise as per ABP, help them in breaking the same geographically, monthly, weekly & daily targets.
- Develop competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient sales organization
- To plan and implement local sales promotion in consultation with marketing.
- To motivate & direct Sales team to establish coverage, distribution and display objectives to meet sales targets.
- To analyze stock movement/availability / out of stocks / slow moving & dead inventory
- Help business head in developing long term pricing strategy to maximize variable margin through product/ territory/ pack mix decisions.
- Networks with potential customers and business partners in an effort to promote certain products
- Prepares sales forecasts on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis
- Have a clear focus on new channels like Institutions and Modern Trade to build Distribution, Visibility and volumes.
- Work out a training calendar for all players in the Sales Organization and implement the same.
- Work towards reduction in cost with optimum quality of product development
- Tracking and reporting in CRM, on a daily basis

Person Specification :
Education & Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in business or sciences and 08 years sales experience with at least 5 years of experience managing a direct sales force
- Experience and success in recruiting and retaining a high performance sales team and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse sales team.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plans.
- Proven business analysis and judgement with the ability to proactively manage business and P&L to meet objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to professionally develop and coach team members.
- Strategy development, project management, problem solving, and change management skills.
- Solid understanding of healthcare and regulatory requirements and issues.
- Exceptional negotiation skills.
- Ability to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
- Business related computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
