Education: Formal degree in Design and Arts from premier design institutes like NID, NIFT.

Experience: Minimum 3 years in Visual Merchandising with a premium retail brand, preferably in the Foods sector

Skills:

- Strong creative flair/ Artistic bent of mind

- Good understanding of premium consumers shopping behavior and expectations (‘Thinking like a Customer’ across the brand)

- Excellent organizational skills, as well as planning, project management, and time management expertise.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key deliverables for the role:

- Making the chain of F&B stores across the country look distinctive, more inspiring and easy to shop
i.e. develop and manage in-store communication/ shelf and navigation signages, product presentation & campaign displays

- Ensure that stores reflect core brand proposition with enhanced visual appeal, distinctive and differentiated sections, clear navigation & signages and a style of presentation/ display that helps enhance consumer interest and inspires consumers to shop.

- New store launch - graphics, signages, VM fixtures by managing new store launch-planning and timely execution of graphics, navigation communication and signage

- Manage the ‘Gifting portfolio’ : Helping design, material-sourcing and manage the ‘Gifting portfolio’ to ensure that the stores not just retain, but also consolidate their respective position as a leading gifting-solutions destination

- Liaising with teams such as buying and marketing to create design themes and plans, including campaign thematic displays, product in-store displays, signage and pricing concepts
· Develop, execute and maintain visual display standards in stores

- Improve in-store brand delivery by incorporating customer data; find ways to highlight and increase pick up of new and interesting products, cross sell and upsell products across categories

- Identifying and sourcing props, and all material required for store VM and gifting LOB;

- Maintaining a budget and negotiating with suppliers of visual materials;

- Working with architectural features of stores to maximize the available space;

- Using artistic skills or computer-aided design (CAD) packages, such as AutoCAD, Mockshop or Adobe Creative Suite, to create visuals and plans;

- Visiting branches to coach store teams to interpret the guidelines and training them in the execution of the visual concept;

- Assembling or dismantling visual displays in windows or in-store;

- Carrying out 'comp (comparison) shops' to maintain awareness of other retailers' visual merchandising concepts;

- Leading and motivating teams to complete displays to tight deadlines;

- Audit stores on display standards
