This position is an essential part of the team, which is responsible for the development of the Retail Business throughout India. The overall duties include the development and implementation of the Vistaprint Franchise / Reseller / brand stores across India.

This Franchise Development Manager is an outstanding opportunity to play a key role helping potential business owners realizes their dream of owning a business via franchise. Your clients will join a successful and growing company and open their own Vistaprint franchise(s). As Franchise Development Manager, you will work closely with the Director-Franchise Development, supporting the sales and vetting process, then taking point once the franchisee is accepted into the company and we begin the contract and planning phase. You will be responsible for contract drafting, execution, and administration for new franchisees, as well as drafting area development and other territorial rights agreements for multi-store franchisees. This is a role where you can feel a sense of pride in your accomplishments and where your successes will be noticed.

The ideal candidate for the role of Franchise Development Manager will have experience working with potential QSR franchisees from initial interest through closing, contract negotiations and signing. He/she will also have a passion for their work and pride in helping others succeed.

Position Summary :

Responsible for the sales process from initial solicitation through contract completion. Includes identifying and sourcing prospective new franchises, pipeline maintenance and adherence to sales/ compliance processes. Must passionately represent Vistaprint brand and be able to ethically coach prospects through the discovery process, finance processes & market development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Recruit & go live with minimum 25+ stores per year

- POC with prospects & the brand ambassador for Vistaprint

- Follow sales process with prospective franchises thoroughly

- Execute monthly & yearly sales objectives with regular tracking and progress reports

- Work closely with Director franchise development on strategic initiatives to achieve goals

- Able to build awareness in respective territories for the brand

- Provide tools / processes / work flows to assist in achieving goals

To be a strong fit for the Franchise Development Manager Opportunity, you will have :

- A minimum of 5 years of successful selling experience in franchise development/sales, commercial real estate, or strategic sales

- A bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Contract Management, Law or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred

- In-depth experience managing/leading people, multi-million dollar budgets, and establishing business tactics

- Experience in franchise operations, sales and development, including a strong understanding of and experience with franchise agreements and practices; excellent negotiation and closing skills

- Proven candidate engagement skills, including relationship building

- A proven and documented track record of consistent achievement

- Basic MS Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

- Will need to travel, attend franchise / trade shows, conduct visits with prospects as necessary.
