Job Summary :

- The Coding Manager responsibilities will be to provide oversight of all the Coding activities and Managing a team of CPC certified Coders and coding supervisor.

- The Coding Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all Coding Specialists are trained and are performing as required to meet the organizational goal.

Responsibilities and Duties :

- Directly manages the Coding Specialists and all coding workflow processes that are included in the correct and timely assignment of medical codes.

- Ensures that all coding functions are compliant, accurate and supported by medical documentation in the patient records.

- Managing the workflow and job assignments, productivity and other performance measurement standards

- Defines goals and outcomes for the Coding Specialists as it relates to the Coding functions.

- Monitors and trends Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Coding Activities and reports finding.

- Responsible for assigning tasks, setting priorities, and monitoring overall efforts of the medical coding team as it relates to the duties listed above.

Required Experience and Qualifications :

- Minimum of 8 years of Medical Coding experience.

- Minimum of 5 years of Management experience leading a team of Coding supervisors

- Experience in HCC coding minimum of 2 to 3 Years is mandatory

- Mandatory have any one credential - CCS/CPC/CPC-H/CIC/COC certification from AAPC /AHIMA.
