The Role Having found exceptional product/market fit with 10,000+ host companies worldwide, we're in the midst of transitioning from 'start-up' to 'scale-up' and looking for a demand generation manager to further develop our outreach strategies to companies, with the scope of converting them to become hosts for remote interns. You will work closely with the Head of Host Company Development & Placements and with a variety of different cross-teams within the organisation, requiring strong collaboration, communication, and project management skills. We don't pretend this will be easy - joining a company and embarking on the scale-up phase is an amazing challenge, pushing well beyond the boundaries of natural growth cycles. You'll move quicker than feels comfortable, and be brilliant at continually "figuring things out" so that the growth of our host company network increasingly comes from demand generation. What you will do - Work closely with Head of Host Company Community to define lead generation campaigns (short & medium-term) to support placements - Design, assemble and create overall email marketing and Linkedin marketing campaigns to drive top-of-the funnel lead generation for our Host Company Community - Create and maintain a database to reach our target audiences via email and/or Linkedin - Manage / scale in-house lead generation team - Copywriting both email and linkedin messages, in line with VI brand voice and tone - A/B test everything and embrace iterative improvement - Design different CTAs for email templates and linkedin outreach - Create documentation and guides for processes, A/B tests and workflows - Compose newsletters on a weekly basis - Actively manage external vendor for Paid Media (PPC/Adwords) and prospects/contact lists - Occasionally, work with third party email marketing and advertising vendors Job requirements - Fluency in English - (you don't need an IELTS, but if you did it would be 8.5+) - 2+ years of experience in Email Marketing - Wide knowledge of: Paid Media (PPC/Display Ads), Search Marketing/SEO, MarTech - Proven experience creating high-impact email marketing campaigns with professional email copies - Ability to execute. Bias for action over meticulous planning - Experimental and analytical approach to marketing campaigns - Ability to collaborate well with diverse partners and internal teams - A creative thinker who is quick on their feet and can pull things together in a scrappy/resourceful way - Someone who is energized by ambiguity and can create structure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment - The desire and ability to experiment and innovate - A genuine interest in remote work and career development of ambitious students/graduates.
