Position Name - Head – Supply Chain Management
Reports to - President – Operations
ROLE OBJECTIVE
- To provide leadership to the Supply Chain function of the Company and align with business in creating the most valuable and independent Telecom
- Infrastructure Company this includes creation and deployment of a fully automated supply chain to cater to all organizational requirements for materials and services in compliance with approved procedures and activity metrics.

ROLE DESCRIPTION: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance-
- Ensure closure of OPEX and CAPEX along with managing 3PL.
- Create efficiencies in the purchase.
- Supervise and conduct physical & process audits for SCM team
- Conduct commercial negotiation/form purchase committee as & when required
- Monitor SCM cost as a % of revenue and create cost-consciousness for user functions and drive initiatives for cost optimization.
- Final approval authority on key vendor contract finalization.
- Ensure capex optimization while ensuring operational excellence.
Customer
- Design and implement processes and procedures for procurement of goods and services as per organizational requirements
- Undertake vendor development and vendor relationship management.
- Monitor internal customer’s feedback.
Process-
- Derive corporate as COE for SCM- Lay down best in class SCM policies. .
- Create a fully automated supply chain to take care of project roll outs on a Pan India basis.
- Plan and review the overall SCM related Strategy and plan.
- Design and install a materials management system with approved metrics and SLA.
- Develop vendors to ensure timely inventory/alternate products based on technology developments/technical changes.
- Design vendor evaluation metric based on price, delivery and quality.
- Manage inventory & conduct age-wise analysis
- Implement SAP & develop systems as per revised processes
- Ensure process compliances and vigilance.
- Responsible for process compliance audits
- Formulate tender terms & conditions for disposal of scrap/dead stock
- Monitor processes and quality adherence.
People
- Define roles & responsibilities for SCM and supervise operations.
- Define effective reporting system to meet out the deliverables timeline.
