Job description:

We are hiring an experienced and passionate leader to own and lead the Admission department at VU. If you're dedicated, ambitious and the thought of building the student community at VU excites you, then wed love to hear from you.

Roles and Responsibilities:

To lead the Office of Student Admissions, which includes counselling and driving recruitment efforts to provide high quality admission services that align to VUs vision.

Design and establish the Admission strategy considering current trends, and VUs objectives.

Responsible for designing the Admission process, Admission related communication, Application processing, counselling, student evaluation, selection and engagement programs.

Building and leading the Admission team by providing guidance, training, nurturing and supervision to ensure alignment to VUs vision and goals.

Oversee the Admission process at VU and position it as a highly professional, personalized, engaging and differentiated process that stands true to VUs Admission philosophy.

Implement well-defined systems and processes including student eligibility, communication, refunds, scholarships etc.

Drive the Scholarship process to ensure it is awarded to handpicked, high achieving students, and the process is seamless.

Ensure adherence to protocol with flawless documentation, compliance to statutory norms and maintenance of data.

Ensure all data related to student admissions is captured on the CRM, and the team is adept to utilizing the system efficiently.

Strong organizational skills, being data-driven and process oriented.

Desired Candidate Profile:

The candidate should possess a minimum qualification of a Masters degree in Management Studies, Business Administration or related fields, with a strong orientation towards education and counselling.

The candidate must have atleast 10 years of total work experience, of which atleast 5+ years is in an leadership role in a reputed University leading Admission strategy, teams and processes with excellent achievement.

The candidate should have experience in implementing effective recruitment strategy, growing scale and operations in his / her previous organizations
