Vidura Capital - Senior Associate/AVP - Deal Origination & Execution - Investment Banking

Looking for a Senior Associate/AVP to work with an Investment Bank.

Vidura Capital is an investment banking firm founded by ex-ICICI securities professionals. We are focused on M&A & Private Equity advisory to corporate clients. Vidura was started in 2015 and has closed multiple deals over last ~3 years. It is proposing to make an addition to the team to capture the growth opportunities available in the market.

Roles & Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

1. Candidate will be expected to play a key role in deal origination and execution

This will involve:

- Studying the Companies and Sectors and preparing Information Memorandum (power-point presentations outlining the Sector, Company and deal opportunity)

- Preparing business plan/ financial projections of the Companies

- Interacting with the Company promoters and Private Equity investors

- Performing financial analyses and valuations

- Facilitating due diligence and transaction closing

2. Deal Ideation - Vidura Capital has a pipeline of ideas around business development. The Candidate will be expected to work with us convert the ideas into business inflow.

This will include:

- Identifying and contacting potential buyers or targets

- Identifying key stakeholders in the deal-making eco-system, presenting them ideas and eventually converting them into deal engagements

- Studying Financial Statements of prospective clients and develop insights about possibility of a deal

Desired Skills & Experience:

- MBA or CA candidates with relevant or near relevant work experience

- Candidates with aspiration to be associated with the Company for longer horizon will be preferred

- Understanding of BFSI sector will be an advantage as majority of our clients are in BFSI Sector

- Self starters and high on energy candidates preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills since it is a client & investor facing role

- Ability and dedication to meet strict and aggressive deadlines with strong attention to details

- Advanced excel & powerpoint presentation skills
