Job Description:
Looking for a self-motivated Director to join sales team, who have proven experience in Digital AD-Sales (Preferably Video AdTech Platform Sales). Actively identify and pursue new advertising and revenue monetization opportunities. Establish and grow relationships with decision makers / influencers with major clients and digital ad agencies. Monitor the Clients data, competitions, agencies & take corrective actions for improvement.
Given our competitive advantage of being an interactive video platform, sell solutions to the brand and open-up new ways for brands / ad agencies to reach out to their customers.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a strong experience of Video Ad Sales in TV, OTT and/or Digital Business Ecosystem in India
- Highly networked individual across all levels in the agency, specifically with planners and buying heads.
- Decent contacts with brands and an ability to influence decisions by way of producing clear roadmap and value proposition outside of the walled gardens.
- Will be responsible to generate Video Ads revenue through direct sales and programmatic sales throughout the region.
- Lead a team of 2-3 motivated Sales Managers in the region
- Evangelize VideoTap and its capabilities with Media Agencies, Creative Agencies and Advertisers.
- Primary focus is to increase market share of VideoTap across the region by way of:
a) Number of clients in the region
b) Coverage, Alliances across Agency Trading Desks
c) Consultative approach in building equity of VideoTap and enhancing client knowledge on the possibilities of Non-Linear Video capabilities
- Ability to differentiate the offering by way of building and articulating a compelling value proposition for various clients across categories
- Develop, track and manage the sales pipeline and achieve the sales targets as per the plan.
- Responsible for the customization of promotional plans, media kits, ad sales contracts, and advertising sales collaterals for the Region.
- Tremendous motivation and a will to win is a key to this role given we are aiming to be a - must buy- in 2 quarters
- Complete understanding of the Programmatic Eco-System and Traditional Media Buying patterns across agencies
Technical Skillset:
- Strong business ethics. Basic computer competency. Microsoft Excel, Office 365 and Outlook, SAP, and Salesforce CRM knowledge desired.
Additional Skillset:
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable creating and delivering presentations in person to colleagues and customers
- Ability to work in team environment
- Confident, structured and an incredibly passionate individual who can take ownership of tasks and work independently to ensure quality output and timely completion.
- Aggressively chase sales targets and must have a track record of achieving targets.
Experience & Education:
- Minimum 7 years of Digital Ads sales with specialization in videos
- Master's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business or related field. Relevant Business sales experience may be substituted.
- Strong background of revenue growth in related position within the industry.
- Preference will be given to candidates having prior background to the Digital Video Eco-system
- Should be tech savvy.

Work Location: Bangalore
Work Hours: 09:30 a.m. to 06:30 p.m. (Mon to Fri, 5 days working)
