Designation : Vice President - UX Designer
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Plan and conduct user research, interpret data and qualitative feedback
- Create user stories, personas and story boards
- Evaluate effectiveness of existing applications and associated UX (user experience) effectiveness
- Develop designs considering the human-computer interaction (HCI) element
- Running user testing of applications, software and websites
- Defining interaction models, user task flows, and UI (user interface) specifications
- Communicating scenarios (hypothetical users), end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to other people working on a deliverable
- Working with visual designers to incorporate a visual or brand identity into the finished product
- Create prototypes and maintain design wireframes (basic mock-ups of applications)
Skill sets Required:
- Design Thinking or Service Design experience in practice
- Academic and applied deep knowledge in some of the following areas: Research, User Experience Design, Product Design, Organizational Design, Strategic Design, Business Design
- Hands-on experience of designing for a variety of digital touch-points and non-digital channels including creating journey maps, blueprints and service prototypes.
- A passion for Customer Experience Design and its centrality to the future success of large organizations
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, a confident presenter
- Strong project and people management skills. Must be able to function as a project leader as well as an individual contributor
- Experience of building effective partnerships and navigate complex organizations
- Proficiency with MS Office as well as design and prototyping tools such as Adobe, Sketch, IN Vision, or other similar, remote collaboration tools like Figma, Miro etc.
- Mathematical aptitude is preferable and strong problem-solving skills
