Vice President - Transfer Agency - BFSI

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Management of the Transfer Agency in accordance with agreed budgetary guidelines.

- Ensuring that KPIs are achieved keeping ASLs to a minimum.

- Own errors identified & where possible minimize financial exposure.

SKILLS :

- Knowledge of EMEA Transfer Agency preferably in areas related to Dealing, Registration and AML.

- Knowledge of laws / regulations governing the Transfer Agency business and monitor impact on the operating function.

- Leadership and organizational skills required to determine the unit goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of the staff.

- Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with teams, other Internal partners, and external parties.

- Possess excellent numerical and written skills.

- Computer literacy (including spreadsheet skills with Excel).

EXPERIENCE :

- Candidate to have 15-20 years of experience in related industry (Capital markets, Transfer Agency, Fund Accounting). Experience in EMEA Transfer Agency desirable for external candidates.

- At least 10 years of managing teams, including demonstrable experience of handling challenging individuals and situations is essential. For internal candidates, minimum 1 years- experience as Divisional Manager and should be a Vice President.

- Graduate in Accounting / Economics. Additional qualification in accounting / finance preferred (e.g., CA/ CS/ CWA/CFA/ MBA) preferred.
