Role Purpose:
- Operational Resilience is a key priority for the organization. The Operational Resilience team in Digital business is responsible for shaping and delivering the global strategy for Operational Resilience. This will be achieved through collaboration with global businesses, entities and functions and supporting business led change aligned to the strategic objectives of the group.
- The role will support the delivery of the firm's Operational Resilience strategy in line with regulatory requirements and business priorities. Operational Resilience sits within the Chief Control Office (CCO), within Digital Business Services, and reports into the Group Chief Operating Officer (GCOO)
- The purpose of this role is to support the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Bank's Operational Resilience Monitoring & Insights Capability, as part of the Testing, Monitoring and Insights team within the broader Operational Resilience Central Capability (ORCC).
- The role reports to the Head of Testing, Monitoring & Insights, Operational Resilience.

The following knowledge & experience are considered vital to this role:
A strong understanding and proven experience in two or more of the following:
- Operational Resilience and specifically Scenario Testing
- Related resilience (testing) disciplines e.g. Business Continuity or;
- Risk Scenario Planning & Testing
- Resilience Monitoring & Metric design (including leading & lagging indicators) and Tools
The following are highlighly desirable: A high level understanding of the regulatory priorities for operational resilience, the broader landscape and the challenges for firms with a global footprint.
