Vice President - Technology - Private Equity Fund

A leading private equity fund is looking for a Vice President of Technology to join their private equity investment team.

Reports to: Managing Director

Key responsibilities

- Support in deal sourcing, early investment evaluation to match the company's investment strategy in the technology space

- Lead in the financial modeling industry and market research due diligence and creation of various reports

- Interact with portfolio company management, conduct routine valuation assessments

- Provide a financial evaluation of investment opportunities including review of project documents

- Monitor portfolio company's financial performance and key performance indicators, provide ongoing monitoring of assets with the firm's portfolios including review of monthly operating results

- Advise clients on both, local and global market conditions and predict future performance expectations

- Developing financial models to perform forecasts on variables like credit growth, defaults rates

- Establish and maintain relationships with industry, trade and professional organizations to enhance the visibility of the firm and the portfolio companies in the market place

The successful candidate will have:

- 8-12 years of experience working with a top 10 PE fund, on a large ticket size

- Will ideally have a few years- experience in the technology space (IT / ITES only. Those with experience in e-commerce, digital or fintech only need not apply)

- MBA from a top 10 institute is preferred
