JOB PURPOSE:

To lead the complete technology center that delivers the best in class Application and Infrastructure. The Head also ensures the substance and maintenance of the Applications and infrastructure by placing the right support team. The role ensures the development and execution of the right strategy and roadmap for the Delivery Center.

Description :

- Guide and support the design of the Delivery center working models.

- Constantly interact with different functions to ensure the development of the right strategic roadmap of the delivery center.

- Effective contributions towards the development and upkeep of the Information technology Strategy.

- Works closely with the Project Portfolio Management and Resource Management team to device and design the right sourcing model for the delivery unit.

- Provide Guidance and thought alignment for the different delivery teams to align, collaborate and deliver the most acceptable product & Service.

- Constantly look out for areas & opportunities for improving the delivery center and its operational processes.

- Lead the periodical Delivery center forums and address the areas of concerns and act as the effective hand of IT Leadership.

- Provide periodical insights about the progress and upkeep of the delivery center.

- Proactively design proposals and practices that can bring more operational effectiveness with in the delivery center.

- Constantly engage in the best practice forums at a global level, thus converting those insights to practical solutions with in the delivery center.

- Act as the orchestrator for the Delivery process, tools and techniques.

- Constantly thrive and strategically drive the delivery center towards the achievement of the Business Goals of the organization.

- Continuously mentor the Delivery center managers to deliver more professional values and technical expertise from the team.

- Act as the catalyst in the effective change management of the delivery center.

- Contribute towards the vendor partnership models and partner selection exercises.

- Ensures the effective functioning of the Bimodal Delivery mechanism.

- Effectively manage Charge back models & Cost rate models to business units and country operations.

- Diligently Monitor the performance of the center and takes proactive steps and decisions to bring efficiency.

Performance Indicators :

- Optimum working model of the centre.

- Optimized sourcing .

- Upkeep of skill wealth information.

- Time conflict resolution.

- Optimum handling of the operational and capital expenditures.

- Quality Reports to the Leadership.

- Overall Centre Performance.

- Effective Escalation management.

FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY: Define the nature of policy/procedure/instruction constraints and the nature of reporting relationships with the boss as well as any relevant financial sign-off authorities

Well defined with laid down delegation of authority matrices.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Define the skills, knowledge and experience specific to the job in question (includes generic skills)

1. Any graduate / Post graduate in IT with 20 years - experience years in which extensive time was spend in the different management layers of delivery centres and also have Lead a medium to large Information Technology delivery Centre.

2. Experience in financial Solutions will be an added advantage.

3. Strong Analytical skills.

4. Strong ITIL understanding, preference for ITIL foundation certified.

5. Good Knowledge of CMMI levels.

6. Knowledge on Business Continuity Plan & DR

7. Working Knowledge on Charge back models & Cost rate models

8. Hands on experience on Insource, Outsource hybrid models of resourcing.

9. Demonstrate experience leading a team in the root cause analysis and resolving issues.

10. Experience in Creating Strategic Roadmaps for the delivery center
