Location:Gurgaon Experience in Commercial Operations, Logistics is must, someone who has managed end to end SCM. RESPONSIBILITIES AND INFLUENCE: a. Leadership and development of the Supply Chain planning function b. Sourcing Responsibilities: i. Manage the company's supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending ii. Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies iii. Analyse and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure iv. Invent negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals v. Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency vi. Cooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes vii. Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers viii. Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking ix. Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques x. Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers xi. Determine quantity and timing of deliveries c. Development of: i. Global production planning policies. ii. Monthly production schedule with attendant materials requirements planning based on the annual sales forecast. iii. System to support the production planning process with accurate, timely information. iv. Accountability for the inventory strategy and plan. v. Deployment procedures. vi. Capacity analysis and capacity plans. vii. Strategic and operational planning models. d. Management of: i. Demand, supply and financial exceptions to meet business objectives. ii. Product transfers between all facilities. iii. Slow moving and obsolete inventory. iv. Activities between Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Distribution. v. End to end warehousing and logistics vi. Integration of finished goods inventories with the sales forecast 1. Raw material and packaging sourcing 2. Production line scheduling 3. Communication of expectations 4. Integration of finished goods inventories with the sales forecast vii. Development of technological advancement in Supply Chain Planning. viii. Implementation of global policies at individual locations. ix. Budget analysis related to capacity, production and inventory planning. DESIRABLE FUNCTIONAL SKILLS &amp; ATTRIBUTES - Lead in the evaluation of in-sourcing strategies, assessment and deployment .
