Job Introduction

As a senior member of the India Data and Analytics Team, the role holder is expected to deliver Strategic Data Asset and Business Intelligence agenda for Data & Analytics, and CRM team.

The role holder will be responsible to lead effort to execute Cloud data migration strategy for India while working with global team to implement cloud platform, and drive solution development (use case) and deployment to commercialize data. As a data consumer, the role holder will define what is the requirement on Data Asset ask for data pipeline including internal data and external data, and work with relevant stakeholders witin Data and Analytics, and with business stakeholders to define use cases across BIs, data science & analytics, campaign and others, and to build and deploy use cases aligned to overall WPB strategic initiatives.

He/she will collaborate with Senior WPB Leadership team to determine and prioritize immediate requirements, build out roadmap for future data capabilities, BI techhnology/ automation capability development and importantly justify with commercialization benefit as part of business case for investment ask.

The role holder will be required to manage and align expectation with senior stakeholders and respective team to ensure ontime and high quality delivery. He or she will be leading BI transformation bringing in smart BI, self serve, and visualization solutions to various set of BI users delivering actionable insights powered by Cloud data capabilities and AI at scale. As part of this role he/she would also need to lead communications team and manage Third Party engagements which enable scalable growth of WPB and robust customer communication management. This position would either entail functional management as an individual contributor and people management responsibility of leading 5-10 FTEs.

Principal Responsibilities

This position would entail functional management as well as team management. The incumbent would be required to

a. Have in-depth business knowledge across a breadth of functional and product areas within Retail Banking and wealth management

b. Able to develop business case with commercial justification to invest in new technology across data capabilities and BI

c. Experienced in agile working approach including managing projects & sprints

d. Understanding and experience with cloud technologies

e. Provide technical/functional leadership to multiple teams and ensure execution of projects/ BAU MIS as per the agreed timelines and with accuracy and quality from the teams

INTERNAL

f. Able to learn and understand high level architecture to work with data architecture team and others to define data pipeline, system integration and connectivity requirement to deploy use cases or services with UI/ UX of end data consumers in mind such as how we enable real time nudges to customers based on customer signal and next best action recommendations

g. Liaise with colleagues in INM, D&A colleagues across Region & Global and also with Region/Global business leaders to deliver commercial outcome

h. Able to navigate through some ambiguity and complex organization

i. Lead the migration to cloud initiative, end to end and automation of self serve dashboard and business intelligence

j. Build, manage and retain talents with constant upskilling to equip the team with necessary skills and knowledge across cloud technologies, data services, Google Kubernetes Engine, big queries, python/ dataproc/ BigQuery, data visualization tools such as Looker, Qlik sense

k. Experience in working in agile methodologies is a plus

Qualifications/Requirements:

- At least 9 years with experience in managing strategic data asset as data consumers enabling uses across BIs, campaign, data science & analytics and with experience in BI & visualization. Experience focused primarily in the Banking & Financial Services Domain

- Strong Knowledge with some experience across SAS, SQL, Python, visualization tools - Qlikview, Looker, BigQuery, Airflow/ GKE

- Knowledge in data warehouse/data lake, cloud technologies

- Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally

- Strong track record of managing and leading medium to large teams

- Exceptionally strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills

- Can work with ambiguity and navigate through complex organization

Eligibility:
