Brief:

The Vice President/Senior Vice President of Public Relations (VP/SVP - PR) will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our client services and public relations initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead a large team of PR professionals and drive the growth and success of clients, ensuring seamless client onboarding and exemplary client management. This is a high-impact leadership role that requires a dynamic, strategic thinker who can deliver results while maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

a) Client Onboarding:

- Oversee the client onboarding process, ensuring smooth transitions and a clear understanding of client needs and expectations.

- Develop customized PR strategies and plans for each client based on their specific goals and objectives.

- Collaborate with the business development team to identify potential new clients and participate in pitching and winning new business.

b) Client Management:

- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, maintaining strong relationships and serving as a trusted advisor.

- Regularly engage with clients to ensure alignment with their business objectives and adjust PR strategies as needed.

- Lead the PR team in executing client campaigns, including media relations, content creation, and event management.

c) Team Leadership:

- Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of PR professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

- Provide guidance, training, and professional development opportunities for team members.

d) Strategic Planning:

- Develop and implement innovative PR strategies that align with clients' objectives and drive positive outcomes.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging PR technologies, adapting the firm's approach accordingly.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to set overall firm strategy and objectives.

e) Financial Management:

- Monitor and manage the financial performance of client accounts, ensuring profitability and cost-effective service delivery.

- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation for client projects.

Reporting and Analysis:

- Provide regular performance reports to clients, demonstrating the impact of PR efforts and ROI.

- Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and refine PR strategies.

Requirements:

The role requires minimum of 15 years of experience in a PR role:

1) Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

2) Proven experience in public relations, with a strong track record of success in a leadership role at a PR agency or similar organization.

3) Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire, guide, and mentor staff.

4) Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and media.

5) In-depth knowledge of the Indian media landscape and established relationships with key media outlets and influencers.

6) Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute PR campaigns that achieve client objectives.

7) Proficiency in using PR and media monitoring tools and analytics platforms.

8) Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously.

9) A proactive, solution-oriented approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
