Create new benchmarks and introduce organisation development interventions for continuous improvement, development of people and organisation change management.   Responsible for providing HR leadership and expertise to support the achievement of the overall organisation Strategic Plan and enhance the overall performance of the organisation.  The incumbent will also be responsible to drive and encourage team work across and keep the senior leadership team align and cohesive all the time.  Achieve high engagement levels across all levels of employees with innovative engagement practices and draw and follow quantifiable metrics.   Job Responsibilities :  Guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resource services, policies, and programs for the organization.   Originate and lead Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality and productivity.   As a member of the Corporate Leadership team, participate in the development, articulation and implementation of policies, processes and programs to support the achievement of the Company and HR functional goals.   Working closely with the Executive teams and the Employee Committees, responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of - positive employee relations- strategies and programs within the business.  Direct and supervise implementation of services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff.   Assist, guide and advise company managers about Human Resources issues.  Be the champion of Talent Management practices focusing on talent acquisition, assessment, career development and succession planning.  Develop and monitor the departmental budget periodically and implement ways to ensure budget compliance.   Establish effective communication channels internally and externally. Build constructive relationships between all stakeholders.  Design methods for continuous improvement in the delivery of services by soliciting internal and external feedback, using best practice models and organizational goals. Collaborate with functional heads on manpower planning/needs.   Work on HR analytics and present the senior management with dashboards for a predictable future, present regular MIS and maintain the healthy standards of important parameters like Attrition, TAT, Learning Hours, Span of Control and Diversity.   Primary Objectives :  Ensure consistency and effective implementation of identified HR processes and systems (e.g. Compensation, Performance Management) through the establishment of strong professional relationships with key stakeholders.   Ensure that all HR processes, policies and procedures related to the effective operation of the HR area of responsibility are properly and thoroughly developed, revised, implemented and maintained as required. Undertake needs assessment, establish vision, and ensure on-going monitoring and metrics, as required.  Remain current with changes and advancements in the HR profession as they relate to defined areas of responsibility and recommend the introduction of new practices and programs that are appropriate to the organisation's environment  Work closely with the executive team and implement the initiatives related to talent and organisation development timely and with high effectiveness.   Recruit, train, develop and manage effectively the ongoing performance of direct reports.  Responsible to ensure compliance of team members (direct reports) with Safety and Employment policies (e.g., Respect in the Workplace - Prevention of Violence and/or Harassment).  Performs all work in support of Corporate Values, Demonstrate strong and visible support of our values.  Introduce best practices and create an aligned and engaged environment for the workforce.  Register the organisation in the BPW space and gain recognition for all the great work being done.   An effective Performance Management System in place to recognize great performers and penalize the ignorant.   Job Requirements:  The right candidate will have strong leadership and business facing skills and a passion for helping the business grow and scale to new heights.
