VP, Senior Project Manager- Transformation (Retail Banking)

- Senior Project Managers are required to take decisions and lead change initiatives and manage stakeholder and senior management relationships. The jobholder will not be subject to close supervision, and will be expected to exercise independent initiative and judgement in proactively overcoming obstacles to success, dealing with uncertainty and changing circumstances, such as interdependencies, opportunities or risks. He / She will be expected to adopt an agile and flexible approach to work and an outstanding level of professionalism and conduct.

- Strong understanding and subject matter expertise in at least 2-3 key Retail banking domains like Lending, Digital banking, Channels, Payments, Wealth, Regulatory & Compliance etc

- The person is expected to have a strong understanding of business domain, it's strategic direction, functional goals, and the required technical & functional expertise at Global level. He / she is expected to make decisions, even with unstructured business problems at pace that balances the need for further analysis and the need for timely decision given business priorities / requirements.

Knowledge:

- Previous experience in leading large scale Business transformation programs, and other managerial experience leading diverse, geographically distributed teams .

- Expert in change methodologies including but not limited to customer experience, digital transformation, Design-led change, including significant experience in Agile roles.

- Knowledge of project management tools such as Clarity/ JIRA/ MS Project

- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

Experience:

- Relevant experience on complex projects across countries or regions

- Overall experience of 15 years or more

- Project management skills and experience of managing large and complex projects / programmes with different scope, environment.

- Ability to interact and influence stakeholders at appropriate level

- Ability to shape and structure complex problems and direct others, ability to take an E2E view and consider customer and business impacts across the project and externally.

- Ability to challenge and provide alternative solutions, and put forward recommendations / take decisions based on the information available

- Experience in managing cross functional and cross geographical teams.

- Strong communications, leadership, project management, influencing, analytical, decision-making, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Be a strong team player and contribute to the success of team work taking up different roles and activities.
