Senior Messaging Advisor - APAC region - (VP)

Main responsibilities for the APAC Senior Messaging Advisor (Vice President) will be the following :

- Be competence Center for all messaging related topics. Understand regulatory and local market changes across the region and current and future standards and assess their impact on messaging

- Increase, standardize and optimize usage of financial messaging products within the bank and drive improvement in efficiency, cost reduction or increase in control. As well as Pre-empting potential issues and risks before they occur and take mitigating actions

- Provide subject matter expertise and support to central messaging hub in all aspects of messaging operations (including SLAs, production support for messaging and sanctions in liaison with APAC business users, support business users in messaging queries - business, systems, transformation etc.)

- Provide governance to user change requests and help them implement and drive effective change to ensure productivity and efficiency. This will include managing cross business prioritization and delivery

- Understand APAC clients, their business strategy, industry initiatives and serves them to provide niche products. Develop and provide messaging related training

- Be a strategic partner to program and platform changes including Front2Back operation strategic initiatives, SWIFT-standard releases and legal entity programs and provide business intelligence analysis and support to regulatory or audit queries in relation to messaging.

- Establish excellent relationships with Zurich Global Messaging Hub, IT and other key Operations Managers in APAC enabling successful team delivery. Information and communication with the Messaging user group through Advisory groups

You offer :

- Solid experience in messaging gained in the finance industry & regulatory developments in APAC

- Analytical aptitude, conceptual and organizational abilities are essential

- Ability to understand the bigger picture and able to drive and influence change

- Clear & concise verbal and written communication skills are a necessity.

- Proven track record of coordinating multiple deliveries concurrently and across regions.

- Demonstrable experience and knowledge of operations process

- Demonstrable experience and knowledge of end to end process flows

- Working locally in Pune

- Awareness of local business processes and infrastructure is an advantage

- Excellent understanding of SWIFT tools, products and projects (SWIFT Gateway, AMH/SWIFT Alliance) is preferable

- Concluded bank-technical basic education with suitable continuing education
