- Experienced Business Analyst is needed in the Americas region within the Global Operations Change team. Working with teams Front to Back globally, you will support the delivery of high-profile strategic, regulatory and market inspired change initiatives for Global Operations. These could include initiatives in a range of areas: meeting commitments to the Federal Reserve Bank; aligning with market driven and regulatory requirements or implementing regulatory and process improvement changes across all US entities and for our Americas Regional Offices in Canada, Mexico, Bahamas and Brazil.

Main responsibilities :

- Conduct a detailed review and analyze business processes, serve as a bridge/liaison between business and technology teams

- Identify and record non-technical/technical requirements, in the form of a Business Requirements Document, focusing on Operations, in collaboration with other departments Front to Back; achieve sign-off from all relevant partners

- Should have strong experience in Securities settlement, and have good understanding of front -2-back Trade life cycle management experience on either Equities, Fixed Income asset classes(background in Stock borrow loan business would be an added advantage)

- Support Functional Specifications documentation in collaboration with technology teams, support Service Level Agreement discussions

- Should bring strong experience in business process analysis, mapping current state process, controls, and apt in defining future state process in partnership with Business SMEs

- Assess and document current vs. future processes across multiple Operations departments and other divisions, including data analysis, acquired data elements, system and procedure diagrams, processing flows, User Interface behaviors, exception handling, control steps

- Work with the Project/Program Manager, functional managers and other team members to define metrics and performance goals for new processes

- Facilitate stakeholder-agreement on functional solutions

- Identify, manage and raise risks and issues associated with requirements, analysis, design, UAT, training, that may be an impediment to the successful completion of project efforts and benefit realization

- Based on requirements, document test cases, test steps and expected results for User Acceptance Testing; document Test Strategy and Test Summary

- Help to drive User Acceptance Testing in partnership with business groups

- Design the training and supporting documentation; document Training Strategy and conduct business user training through a variety of techniques

- Support the establishment of a Migration Strategy

- Support the business owners in key operating procedures and controls documentation

- Support the Project/Program Manager in prioritization, decision making, risk/issue mitigation to meet project-milestones and objectives

- Ensure compliance with established guidelines for accurate and timely milestone-deliveries

Perform these activities with minimal oversight and with great attention to detail.

- Minimum 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry

- Experience in business analysis, Operations end-to-end processes, industry best-practices, process re-engineering and related controls

- Ability to break down complex problems into simple terms, document findings in a manner that is understandable to someone who is not a Subject Matter Expert

- Excellent written documentation skills, familiarity with BA tools, techniques and documentation formats (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, business process modeling and activity diagrams)

- Meticulous attention to detail

- Proven experience in working with teams across multiple regions, proven ability to work in a team environment, and develop and manage relationships

- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, bridging technology and business teams, ensuring clarity of requirements to key partners at all seniority levels

- Outstanding ability to communicate ideas simply and unambiguously

- Demonstrated quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills

- Demonstrated ability to challenge status quo, innovate and recommend change

- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well under pressure

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent diploma
