Vice President - Securities Operations - Bank

APAC Securities Settlements are responsible for the timely settlement and reconciliation of securities trades and related monies:

- Product scope can include listed securities on respective exchanges, fixed income debt products and funds.

- Trade pre-matching including (where applicable) communication with counterparties, agent banks and internal teams to resolve trade mismatches

- Fail management including timely matching, stock borrowing requests, fail coding and narration

- Client statement/confirmation creation (where applicable)

- Exception queue management (negative acknowledgement, system feed issues)

- Management of control or risk issues with by raising it to the senior management whenever applicable

- You will have to reconcile depot and nostro accounts by including timely resolution of breaks and narration along with signing off of general ledger accounts

- Review daily risk indicators and raise to management for spikes/incident

- MBA from a top tier institute

- Minimum of 13+ years of experience

- Strong analytical skills along with creativity in order to develop new and rare ways to improve operations of the organization and to build new opportunities
