Vice President - Sales Job Description : - Overall Control of the Sales process of the investee companies - Responsible for setting up a effective sales process and a motivated performance oriented sales team - Responsible for initiating key business development, trade relations for helping promoting products and services of the investee companies. - Co-ordinate closely with the sales teams of Investee Company - Monitor the performance of the sales team and sales process of each investee company - Active involvement in designing and implementation of detailed sales plan and processes - Responsible for setting up a system to effectively monitor sales processes of the investee Companies - Create and monitor a effective MIS System of each Investee Company and then consolidated the same for the overall portfolio - Primarily responsible to ensure that the sales target of each Investee Companies are achieved Specific Skills Required : - Well developed Interpersonal skills - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Leadership skills and strategic thinking - Hands on experience on handling Branded Retail sales - Team - building skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast - paced, dynamic environment Essential Functions : - In depth understanding of the investee company's business - Effective Team Player and willing to work in co-ordination with different departments - Highly committed and problem solving ability with willingness to work under stressed conditions - High degree of process orientation is required - Knowledge of Retail segment in India and experience in handling Retail Sales for good no of years Qualification : MBA(Marketing)
