The Sales HR Leader implements the organization's human resource strategy so that the organization attracts, manages, develops and retains the employees it needs to achieve its current and future business objectives. Evaluate the organization's future workforce needs in order to recommend changes to the HR strategy and adapt existing HR programs to meet these needs.

This role in summary:

Our client is seeking a AVP/VP Human Resources to support the Sales team in the India. The Human Resources (HR) leader will be the strategic Human Resources professional responsible for developing and executing organizational strategies that align structure, culture, and talent with business goals, while providing coaching to people leaders.

The successful candidate will work on driving organizational effectiveness to ensure "fit for purpose" structure. You will be identifying the future leadership pipeline and partnering with leaders to identify appropriate development actions. Or you may be working to build out engagement plans to increase team effectiveness.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Partner with business leaders to lead and drive people excellence to enable Sales to achieve their deliverables and positively impact business.

- Drive business strategy and change for Sales including talent strategies focused on front line leader development and inclusion & diversity (I&D).

- Consult with Sales leadership team to proactively interpret and leverage data to diagnose and solve talent challenges and implications.

- Coach employees and people leaders.

- Leverage Center of Excellence (COE) driven solutions to meet business objectives and organizational issues.

- Partner with HR operations to enable two-way information sharing on Sales needs and ensure positive business outcomes.

- Facilitate problem solving using Continuous Improvement methodology.

- Lead Strategic Workforce Planning and drive Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) strategy in Sales.

- Participate with others in completing special projects as assigned.

Minimum requirements:

- 15+ years current experience in Human Resources with a Manufacturing/ FMCD/ FMCG company

- Experience in partnering with Senior level Business Executives.

Preferred skills and experiences:

- Master's Degree or MBA.

- Knowledge and insight about the business to fully engage in business discussions and lead People Strategy to improve talent and business outcomes.

- Develop effective relationships with clients by building trust, leveraging networks, applying HR expertise, and measuring and ensuring business results.

- Business Acumen:

Uses extensive knowledge and insight about the business to fully engage in business discussions and lead People Excellence strategy to improve talent and business outcomes.

- Strategic Partner:

Develops effective relationships with clients by building trust, leveraging networks, applying HR expertise, and measuring and ensuring business results.

- Organizational Effectiveness:

Creates an effective and strong organization by utilizing organizational diagnosis tools, leveraging organization design principles, and building organization capabilities in line with Whirlpool's core values to win against the competition.

- Data-driven Insights:

Applies data analytics and judgment to draw insights that inform business decision making.

- Coach:

Uses coaching and influencing skills to successfully drive change and leaders' ownership/accountability.

- Change Champion:

Partners to lead and sustain change creating an agile and responsive organization.
