He will have holistic eye on the performance of the investment banking performance .

Majorly on the revenue side of it

Person will be evaluating sales performance of different products of Investment Banking

Key Accountabilities: 

Performance, Management and review of the Sales Finance reporting and Sales Finance PC teams:

- Manage the Sales Finance team

- Mentor and develop team members

- Be the - Go-to- person in the Sales Finance team

- Be able to assist Sales persons, traders, Business managers for queries relating to sales credits and tariff methodoligies and other users on system related matters. Ensure the team are fully knowledgeable to answer queries on MI Systems (Qlikview, One view, BO, Tableau)

- Liaise with other regional teams to ensure global consistency and collaborative working

- Build a strong rapport with the sales and business managers. This will involve dealing with senior members across these functions and establish a working relationship to work well from a remote location.

- Oversee all daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly tasks - ensure they are delivered in a timely and accurate manner

- Establish a strong control environment in the team and enable appropriate escalation

- Ensure there is appropriate review of, daily sales credit numbers Review weekly and monthly packs to the Senior management

- Ensure Re-certification of systems are completed in a timely manner

- Initiate continuous process improvements and look to seek efficiency in the team's functions

- Ad hoc projects

Stakeholder Management and Leadership

- Customer focused - consistently meet client needs

- Communicate and escalate run-the-bank issues arising from queries and failing trades.

- Escalate/highlight issues during scheduled meetings to consistently address issues impacting Sales Revenues globally and help identify appropriate remedies (eg., Process Improvements or Training requirements etc)

- Establish a collaborative and effective relationship with the Sales Finance Client Face lead, ensuring expectations are set at appropriate levels.

- Support the lead to embed a strong engagement model with the regional Business Managers and the Head of Sales Finance.

Decision-making and Problem Solving

- Analytical - able to break down problems and resolve them.

- Independent and a self-starter - accountable for day-to-day issues.
