Job Description:
- Heading the 'Specialty Intermediates' business both for Domestic & International Market and responsible for Profit & Loss.
- Participate in setting direction for the company and contribute to corporate brand equity.
- Set the direction for the Specialty Intermediaries business from a long-term perspective. Evolve and deploy strategy for the business based on an in-depth understanding of the market and customer needs.
- Provide input to strategic and annual business plans for the organization.
- Deliver business results along the financial, customer, capability, and process objectives delineated for the business.
- Scan the environment to gain insights into competitor strategies, potential business opportunities, and market trends.
- Identify opportunities and build strategic relationships with key buyers/ customers.
- Oversee task accomplishment of the cross-functional team in terms of outputs/deliverables and processes.
- Oversee resource allocation for business initiatives such as capacity expansion, the introduction of new lines, value-added processes within budgetary guidelines, and the overall direction laid out at the organizational level.
- Enhance customer satisfaction levels by driving a customer-focused culture and developing new products/applications and services in conjunction with the Head R&D/NPD to better meet customer needs.
- Drive process and product development initiatives and drive implementation of new products as identified.
