Title : Vice President For RWA Production Centre

Skill Set:

- Qualified CA / CPA / ICWA / MBA (Finance) with 13+ years of experience

- Strong Regulatory reporting background with a financial institution with a good understanding of the requirements of key regulators (PRA, Fed, HKMA, etc.)

- Good understanding of banking productions (Retail & Wholesale) and NCCR calculation

- Strong data / systems background, particularly, experience in understanding, interpreting and fixing dataflow

- Strong data mining and analytical skills, including hands-on experience in managing large volumes of data with a proven ability to interpret and comment on data movements.

Role context :

- Design a fit for purpose RWA data and metrics process in engagement with key stakeholders

- Identify opportunities and actively engage in the development of common data platforms and utilities in close association with related work-streams

- Lead and conduct the UAT to drive consistency and efficiency

- Review, validate and adjust data to meet expected quality criteria and initiate steps to eliminate exceptions

- Proactively manage and improve the quality and consistency of the data

- Review and analysis of key changes and the underlying business drivers to support disclosures and analyst queries

- Ensure timely data sign-off by data owners and manage exceptions

- During the initial phase of the programme (Phase I), the jobholder will focus on the UAT, designing the process-flows and training the team members. During the subsequent phases, the focus shall be on successful roll-out along with data integrity and output quality management

- The immediate team will be approximately 20 FTEs, working closely with the credit risk, systems and finance teams

- The jobholder is expected to be a self-starter and able to adapt to changing demands as the project progresses.
