Job Brief: VP Risk Strategy

The Job Details are given below:

To provide end-to-end support in the shaping and stewardship of risk management infrastructure of the Group or Region through:

- Implementation of the overall Risk Governance Structure.

- Support for the strategic evaluation of the Bank's risk profile through the independent delivery of the Top and Emerging Risks and Risk Map.

- Responsible for managing all aspects of risk planning and monitoring, including the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), Risk Appetite and Enterprise Wide Stress Testing.

- Implementation of advanced risk measurement techniques, including all Basel II Advanced Approaches and Regional risk projects.

- Collaborate effectively with Business and Finance for implementing ICAAP, Risk Appetite, and other deliverables.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to confidently articulate regulatory and Group requirements to Business and balancing the need for adopting advanced risk management practices while supporting growth.

- Work closely with other Risk functions in areas like the Country Risk Plan, Stress Testing.

Desired Candidate profile

- Graduation/Post Graduation(MBA) having 10 years of experience in the Banking Sector and 5 years in Risk Management in the desired profile.

- Good Logical and Analytical skills

- Pleasing personality

- Excellent understanding of Basel 2 regulations and their impact

- In-depth knowledge of Credit Risk and Standardized / Internal Ratings Based Approach of Basel 2 / 3

- Preferably a risk certification such as FRM, GARP, PRMIA, etc
