Vice-President -Risk Remediation Lead - Merchant services Infrastructure

The Merchant Services Remediation Lead is primarily responsible for identification and remediation of Infrastructure Risk, Vulnerability & Hygiene related activities within GTI Service Operations ring fenced Merchant services infrastructure to secure the bank's critical infrastructure and operating environment.

Key responsibilities include:

- Primarily responsible for identification and remediation of Infrastructure Risk, Vulnerability & Hygiene related activities on Merchant Services Infrastructure.

- Technology Risk/Operational Risk - Understand the linkage between Technology Risk Assessment, Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and Infrastructure Control Assessment (ICA) within the Operational Risk Management Framework

- Lead identification and analysis of risk concentrations within the technology areas and provide an independent assessment of the inherent risk, mitigating controls, and residual risk. Recommend any adjustments as required to meet organization policy, regulatory requirement, and industry best practices.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer science, Engineering, Physics, Math or related field; post graduate degree or other professional designations highly desirable

- Experience in technology development and operational risk oversight within the financial services industry. This VP will need to demonstrate an understanding of technology risk management and control principles

- Broad and deep knowledge of current and emerging technologies. Ability to understand complex technical systems and the business processes they support

- Proven ability to anticipate and identify risks and effective mitigation. This VP will need to explain inherent and residual risk, process controls and recommend control improvements or process reengineering if required
