Vice President - Food &amp; Agribusiness Research &amp; Advisory (FAR), [FAR Analyst] MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES : - Analyse and research one or more of the F&amp;A sectors as per allocation of coverage beyond basic macro, demand and supply trends. - Perform an industry scenario analysis - Understand company strategies and business models and use this knowledge to extract strategic/commercial/company insights - Provide and contribute to the Farm Inputs research agenda, in consultation with the Global Sector Strategist Farm Inputs and FAR Regional Manager. - Deepen FAR's knowledge understanding, analysis and sharing of India F&amp;A market, and sharing this knowledge and network within the organisation through team discussions, presentations (internally, with clients, and at conference/seminars) and published reports - Update the qualitative elements of the sector scatter plots periodically &amp; support the biannual portfolio review Essential : - In depth knowledge of dynamics of the Farm Inputs sector in the Indian context is required. - At least 10 years of work experience in food or agribusiness / research / consulting, handling F&amp;A clients. - Needed people for research related role, who will act as the think tank for the organisation. Preferred : - Working experience in Research, Farm Inputs company, or consultancy work for Farm Inputs sector. - Technical degree on agriculture (IIM A/ IRMA / NIRMA and others) Please note - this is not a business development role.
