Vice President - RBI Regulatory Compliance & Testing

Qualification: Company Secretary/ Chartered Accountant/ MBA

CTC: As per market standards.

Reporting to: Chief Compliance Officer

- Candidate ideally should be one down of the Chief Compliance Officer.

- RBI Regulation - Extensive knowledge of RBI banking regulations pertaining to retail business.

- Ensuring compliance to RBI Regulatory/ Policy guidelines for MSME, Retail, MFI, Agri and other retail portfolio

- Thorough understanding of regulatory guidelines and the risk emanating out of it.

- Regulatory Advisory - Provide commercially sound guidance to business teams on regulatory/compliance issues. Actively engage with them to ensure effective implementation of such guidelines. Assist business to effectively assess any regulatory change

- Compliance Monitoring/ Testing - Conducting comprehensive compliance risk assessment and implement commensurate risk-based compliance monitoring/testing periodically. This will include Thematic Testing, Testing on RAR Compliances submitted to RBI, Tranche-III, Product Testing, Returns Testing

- Manage and conduct monitoring and testing across compliance risks.

- Identifying the effectiveness of the design of the control based on testing.

- Identify control deficiencies / validate control weakness.

- Proactive engagement with business teams to understand the control in place and discussing design deficiencies, if any.

- To carry out bank wide the Compliance risk assessment

- Policy/ Process - Identifying & implementing policies/ process in line with extant guidelines and responses to the queries / clarifications sought by various Business / Credit / Operations / Support functions. To vet New Product & Process of the bank from regulatory perspective. Vetting / Scrutiny of Credit proposals from compliance angle.
