Position - Quant - Fixed Income Trader.

As a Fixed income trader, you will be responsible for taking the desk to newer heights by maximizing opportunity in India and expanding in international markets. The desk follows a framework/data driven trading approach to generate absolute returns in trading. The candidate will have unique opportunity to expand the desk in global markets and lead the same. The candidate will be working with a team of highly skilled researchers and traders, making this an ideal opportunity to learn from a range of different sources and backgrounds

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

1. Monitor and respond to incoming market information, economic announcements, and general trading activity to manage portfolio risk and identify investment opportunities

2. Make statistically based and process-driven trading decisions

3. Utilize quantitative and statistical methods to complete data-driven projects

4. Interacting with industry people to keep abreast of market environment and finding flow trading opportunities

Job Requirements

Qualifications

MBA from premier B-Schools or an Engineer from premier institutes

Experience

7- 10 years experience of trading / developing strategies in Indian/ International markets in Front office in Fixed income space

- Strong work ethic and attention to detail; risk management mindset that results in accurate and compliant work and manifests itself in double-checking work, stopping to question anything unusual and frequent reconciliation of work throughout the day;
