Job Description:
- Provide leadership and overall direction to the Quality Engineering and PMO team across one or more PCCs.
- Ensure Quality KPIs are met, optimised, and transparently tracked/reported on a continuous basis, contributing to test strategy, planning and execution.
- Besides QE, this role is expected to head the engineering program management team responsible for process compliance, metrics analysis, release management, management reporting etc.
- Drive organizational wide initiatives by providing strategic inputs to the team to improve quality processes (lower defects, rapid deployment, higher automation etc).
- Contribute value to the organization by supporting decision making capability through effective use of data and business analytics.
- Provide technical vision, implement, and follow reproducible, auditable, collaborative practices for efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Maintain strong relationships with peer teams and stakeholders- communicate risks/issues transparently and negotiate/prioritize any change of plan aligned to business requirements.
- Responsible for collating the budgetary plans for the organization.
- Encourage diverse viewpoints from team members, maintain innovation-focused & result- oriented work-culture.
- Leverage project management skills and communication tools (presentations, project Management, performance management dashboards) to successfully manage the work and serve as a subject matter expert on various projects / key topics impacting the business delivery agenda.
- Makes decisions to identify critical risks/issues and implement mitigation plans that impact the overall timeline and economic delivery of the global customer delivery agenda as well as suggest ways to improve process efficiencies.
Work Experience:
- Experience of 25+ years with considerable experience at a leadership level, managing and leading a globally distributed engineering team of at least 100+ members (Including Directors/Sr Directors, Managers/Sr Managers etc)
- Proven work experience in software quality engineering and project management in a global environment. Strong knowledge of Quality methodologies, Project management tools, and processes including Automation, Performance/Benchmarking etc.
- Substantial experience in testing Telco products related to Roaming, Security, etc. (strong network and application testing background) and program management background.
- Very strong background in core networks.
- Experience in broad transformational implementations or managing complex projects including global coordination.
- Experience with using Jira, Confluence & Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project).

- A thought leader with high analytical thinking to process large quantities of data in an accurate manner, excellent presentation and good communication skill.
- Good understanding of popular Test and Automation Tools, and script (Perl/Python etc) enabled Automation.
- Experience in Revenue Assurance, Fraud Management, Analytics/Bigdata, Telecom domain testing is preferred.
- Knowledge of 3G/4G/5G network signalling is an added plus.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple geographies and business units.
- Results oriented, adept in conflict resolution, skilled at prioritization and change management.
- Proven ability to complete projects and achieve results in an ambiguous work environment, strong negotiating and consensus building abilities.
- Good understanding of Agile Development and release management processes.
