We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Projects with a background in Civil Engineering to join our client in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, specifically commercial/datacenter. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and successfully delivering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and timeline targets.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage multiple commercial construction projects from start to finish, ensuring successful project delivery within defined timeframes and budgets.

- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, resources, and risk management strategies.

- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth execution of projects.

- Conduct regular project status meetings, communicate progress, and address any issues or concerns that may impact project delivery.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and standards throughout the project lifecycle.

- Monitor and control project budgets, expenses, and cash flow, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost management.

- Manage and negotiate contracts, change orders, and other project-related agreements with stakeholders.

- Implement effective project control mechanisms, including progress tracking, performance metrics, and reporting.

- Identify and mitigate project risks and proactively address any issues that may arise during the construction process.

- Foster positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.

- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team, resolving technical challenges and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the construction and project management fields.
