Job Description :
- Leading on projects and initiatives in the Market Risk change management function, driving end to end implementation of regulatory requirements and other strategic, multi-disciplinary Change projects
- Partnering with the Program stakeholders to define and agree program strategy and drive implementation of solutions
- Prepare project business case and present to Steering Committee for release prioritization; Manage release scope and requests backlog
- Management of stakeholders across Business, Methodology, Operations, IT - RACI matrices
- Chairing and presenting status to Working Groups, Steering Committee and Senior Management
- Developing, implementing and maintaining the overall Project Management Plan, including project risks & issues management and communications plans; Managing/ controlling/ tracking the necessary change processes, policies, manuals, directive, Target Operating Model
- Managing budges and actuals, including resource plans and ensuring milestones are tracked
- Planning & coordinating all project activities (e.g. UAT, go-live strategy, training, migration, physical infrastructure, etc.) to lead transition to BAU
- Managing project risks, issues and dependencies - escalating these as and when required
- Act as the first level escalation point for team members
- Leadership role in the ongoing management and success of the change management function, including:
- Oversight of recruitment, training and ongoing development of staff
- Lead large team size of more than 15 with functional and line management responsibilities
- Guiding and directing the team members in order to keep the projects on track. Sense the risks and issues in order to mitigate them upfront
- Participate and executing in strategic vision of the change team to build out a strong resource pool in CoE location
- Ensuring that teams are delivering to the expected standard of quality on all PM matters
Skills and Experience :
- Strong project management skills and proven successful front to back implementation and delivery of sizeable cross border projects
- 12 to 15 years of experience in the Financial services industry, with atleast 5 years in the market risk domain
- Built and Managed teams of size 10 to 20
- Experience working with and reporting to senior stakeholders across various functions of the business
- Knowledge of full project lifecycle - SDLC/ Agile
- Ability to produce clear, concise reporting - project status, activity RAG, RAID logs
- Effective communication and influencing skills; Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience of working at strategic as well as tactical level delivering Change Management approaches
- Knowledge of the Regulatory landscape of the Investment Banking sector
- Ability to review project deliverables for completeness and quality, and compliance with established project standards
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for tasks and people
- Proven ability to communicate with all levels of management in a clear, concise manner
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, leadership, written and verbal
